Dare to dream, work to achieve!
Here you will find key information about the school.
Open Door Policy
You are welcome to visit the school at any time, although prior warning will ensure that the school is ready to receive you. When teachers are teaching children it is not the best time to discuss matters with them and discussions should be arranged outside class teaching time. On visiting the school, parents should report to the school office first.
Supporting the school
We rely on parents to support us in many ways whether this is through helping on school outings or through supporting the children’s learning. Let us know if you would like to help. A disclosure check is required for those helping on a regular basis.
School Handbooks (Primary & ELCC)
The school handbooks have been written to explain how the school is organised and what services are available. If you require any further information please contact the school office.
Our Core Expectations relates to all areas of the school environment, both inside and outside the building, and are displayed prominently within all classrooms and throughout the school.
Positive Behaviour Policy
At Stirches Primary School we strive to ensure everyone feels happy, safe and respected, which helps create a positive atmosphere and enables us to work together smoothly and efficiently. To achieve this, we encourage all members of our school community to consider the rights of others and to take responsibility for their own actions. We have a clear, consistent approach to ensure equality and fairness, when expectations are not being followed and also to reward positive behaviour.
Steps to a Happy School
Below you will find links to the Class Charters that each class has created for the year. They include expectations of pupils and class teachers, consequences and rewards and the positive behaviour weather chart steps.
